Non-native speakers will be encouraged to attend the Pre-sessional Course in English for Academic Purposes A pre-sessional course provides the opportunity both for the study of academic English and for orientation in the place of future academic study. It focuses on preparation for effectiveness at real academic work and not just on gaining a higher IELTS score. It is complemented by the pre-session induction on research skills, referencing/plagiarism and numeracy.
